A new step for Purple with the Adèle update 💜

Purple

April 22, 2026

Since the launch less than a month ago, Purple has been evolving quickly with one simple idea: helping women find new friends easily, without pressure. This new update, called “Adèle”, is a real step forward in that direction.

This isn’t just a visual update. This time, we’re adding features that respond to real situations inside the app: hesitating on a profile, not knowing if it’s worth starting a conversation, or having to ask the same questions over and over again.

Adèle, a direct help on profiles

The main new feature is Adèle. She is now accessible directly from profiles through a dedicated button. In one click, you can launch a compatibility analysis between you and the other person.

The goal isn’t to replace your intuition, but to help you see things more clearly. Adèle gives you feedback based on what you have in common, your habits and what each person is looking for.

In practice, it mainly saves time. You can quickly understand if there’s potential, without starting a conversation blindly.

Adèle will continue to evolve in the next updates. She won’t stay limited to profiles: she will also be integrated directly into conversations to help you at the moment you actually need it.

Regarding usage, free accounts get 10 credits per month, while premium accounts get 200, allowing for much more frequent use.

Clear intentions directly on the profile

With the “Why I’m here” section, everyone can now indicate what they are looking for on Purple. Meeting friends, chatting, going out or networking — this information is visible directly on the profile.

This small detail changes a lot. You understand the person much faster, and it avoids conversations that go nowhere simply because expectations don’t match.

Relationship status for more context

Relationship status is also now part of profiles. It’s optional, but it adds useful context.

Without making things heavier, it avoids certain questions and makes profiles more complete from the start.

Social links directly on profiles

It’s now possible to add your social media directly to your profile: Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook or even a website.

This feature is reserved for premium accounts. It allows conversations to continue outside the app, but also helps you get a better sense of someone before even starting a discussion.

It’s a simple addition, but it makes profiles more real and connections faster.

A natural evolution of the app

With this “Adèle” update, Purple becomes more practical in everyday use. Profiles are clearer, intentions are easier to understand, and decisions are quicker.

The goal remains the same: helping women meet and find new friends more easily, without overcomplicating things.

We’ll keep improving the app step by step, with simple features that actually make a difference. 💜

Stay connected, the next updates are coming soon.
