Adèle is now inside your conversations

Since Purple launched, many of you have asked for more help starting a conversation, picking things back up, or simply finding the right words without sounding like a robot.
So over the past few weeks, we've been working on a brand new Adèle integration directly inside your DMs ✨

Free Adèle credits go from 10 to 20

Let's kick off this update with some great news: free members now get 20 Adèle credits per month instead of 10.

We wanted more girls to be able to discover Adèle, try out the features, and have fun with the assistant.

Breaking the ice with Adèle

You matched with someone but have no idea what to say? We all know that small moment where you open the chat… then close it again because nothing feels like a natural way to start.

Adèle can now suggest several conversation ideas based directly on the other person's interests: travel, food, fitness, music, deeper conversations, cocktails, lifestyle…

The goal isn't to send copy-pasted, impersonal messages, it's to give you a little nudge so getting started feels easier.

You can now open Adèle directly inside any conversation to get several ideas tailored to the profile of the person you're talking to. All of it seamlessly and discreetly, so your exchanges stay natural and human 💜

Message rewriting

This is probably our favourite feature.

Sometimes you know exactly what you want to say… but the message feels cold, too blunt, too long, or just "off". And in writing, one small detail can completely change the tone of a conversation.

With rewriting, Adèle can now rework your messages in several styles:

• simply fix typos and grammar
• rewrite it
• make it funnier
• warmer
• softer
• more mysterious
• more direct
• or make it shorter

The most important thing for us was to avoid the "written by an AI" effect. We wanted to keep your personality and your voice.

Adèle doesn't replace your message, she subtly refines it so it sounds more natural, more fluid, or more pleasant to read depending on the mood of the conversation.

Re-starting a conversation

We also all know that moment when a conversation starts to slow down.
Things are going well, then nothing for a few days. And after that, coming back naturally feels awkward like you'd be forcing it or just sending a bland "hey, how are you?"...

Adèle can now analyse the context of the conversation and suggest several smart re-starters based on:

• your past exchanges
• the other person's interests
• topics you've already talked about
• or even small details mentioned earlier in the chat

Travel, music, food, fashion, shows, anecdotes… she helps you find a simple, natural topic to pick things back up without any pressure.

The idea isn't to have an AI speak for you, but to help conversations keep going when you're just a little short on inspiration or hesitant to reach out after a few days of silence.

This is just the beginning for Adèle

From the start, our goal was never to create an AI that replaces human connection. Purple is, first and foremost, an app for building real connections between women.

But today, AI is already part of everyday life for so many people. Whether for writing, working, finding ideas, or just building a little confidence before hitting send 😭

So it felt pretty natural to integrate Adèle directly into Purple conversations, but in a way that's discreet, useful, and human.

The idea stays the same: help connections happen more easily, not replace them 💜

The update is rolling out gradually on Purple ✨
